From Cultivation to Formulation

Our family has farmed organically since the 1980s using herbicide-free methods and natural fertilization like compost, cover crops, and heat-treated chicken manure to maintain healthy soil.

UPCYCLING

We upcycle plum kernels, once a farm byproduct, into sustainable and innovative skincare ingredients that eliminates waste and maximizes resources.

HOLISTIC FARMING

As a vertically integrated regenerative farm, we control our supply chain from soil to skincare ensuring sustainability and upcycling plum kernels into clean and effective products.

Our patented leading active ingredient, Plum Superfruit Complex® exclusive to Le Prunier, sinks into the skin and defends against free radicals that can damage DNA while delivering UVA/UVB/Blue Light Protection. Plumscreen®is the first and only SPF 30+ to utilize the all-natural Power Of Plum® by way of our patented Plum Superfruit Complex® to provide clinically demonstrated skin benefits.

Lowering Our Carbon Footprint

We’re committed to lowering our carbon footprint through innovative renewable practices giving us the means to be more efficient while lowering our impact and reliance on machines and pesticides.

WATER RECYCLING

We use a revolutionary waste-water system called BioFiltro that uses earthworms to treat our processing water.

SOLAR ENERGY

For over 12 years, our processing facility has been 100% solar powered allowing us to reduce our carbon footprint.

NATURAL HARVESTING

Our herd of 200 Dorper sheep eat down excess cover crops after harvest, eliminating the need for heavy machinery and leaving the soil healthier.

Shipping & Packaging

CARBON NEUTRAL SHIPPING

Le Prunier has offset 395,000 lbs of CO2 since 2020 and now offers 100% carbon-neutral shipping through a partnership with Route. This initiative supports eucalyptus planting at the Fazenda Nascente Do Luar Project in Brazil and ensures package protection with swift issue resolution.

100% RECYCLABLE PACKAGING

Our bottles are 100% recyclable although we encourage repurposing! Our secondary boxes are decorated using eco-friendly ink, while our corrugated mailers are made from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified board. We also recycle all cardboard materials on the family farm.
