Our award-winning Plum Beauty Oil is grown, harvested and cold-pressed on our 4th generation family farm in Sutter County, California. This farm was founded in 1916 by our great-grandfather and operates today as the world’s largest organic grower and producer of plums. We are so proud to be continuing the family tradition with clean beauty!

Le Prunier is 100% sustainable. Our Plum Beauty Oil is created by cold-pressing upcycled plum kernels, which were previously a waste product on the farm. The remaining flesh of the fruit is then used to create juice, dried fruit, baby food, etc., so nothing goes to waste. Our farm has been 100% powered by solar for the last ten years and we’ve been committed to organic farming for over 30 years. From start to finish, Le Prunier products remain all natural, ethical, and eco-friendly.

While our other products smell of our signature subtle marzipan, our Plum Beauty Oil is a single ingredient and smells the most potent of the entire line due to the additional ingredients.

No, our Plum Beauty Oil is non-comedogenic so it won’t clog pores or promote acne. In fact, many customers have told us it has helped heal breakout faster. 

Yes, our co-founder Jacqueline used it throughout her pregnancy. Our oil is hypoallergenic and gentle for sensitive skin, however, to determine your comfort level and best practices we recommend speaking to your doctor first. We are also Pediatrician Approved. 

Yes, it’s unisex! You can moisturize your face, body and facial hair with Le Prunier Plum Beauty Oil.

Yes, our full size 30ml Plum Beauty Oil is TSA approved. We also created our 3.7ml Deluxe Minis in a convenient 3.7ml travel size. Both are perfect for on-the-go glow!

Plum Beauty Oil has a natural shelf life of 2 years upon opening. Each 30ml bottle should last 1-2 months depending upon frequency of usage. We recommend signing up for a monthly or bi-monthly subscription to save 10% and never run out! You can cancel at any time (no hidden fees or restrictions). 

Yes, Plum Beauty Oil is gentle enough to use around the eye area and helps to prevent fine lines and wrinkles. 

Applying a few drops of Plum Beauty Oil to the palm of your hand and gently blend together with concealer to create a smooth finish for under the eyes. It helps you to look refreshed after a long day of work!

After cleansing your face in the morning, apply Le Prunier Plum Beauty Oil to your face and let it absorb into the skin. After a few minutes, layer on sunscreen for an added antioxidant boost. 

You can apply a generous amount in the evening after cleansing and toning. Rub it in your hands for easier application and gently press it onto the face, neck and décolleté. You can even use a gua sha tool or a jade roller to further penetrate the oil into the skin. 

Le Prunier does wonders to the ends of hair! After showering, apply a few drops to the ends of damp hair to help nourish the ends. Plum Beauty Oil helps protect against heat damage and smells amazing as well! 

When suffering from extremely dry skin in the winter, Le Prunier Plum Beauty Oil helps calm and nourish the skin. Applying it to the body after showering feels like an indulgent spa treatment.

Our patent-pending leading active ingredient, Plum Superfruit Complex®, sinks into the skin and defends against free radicals that can damage DNA. Derived from up-cycled plum ingredients found on our 100-year-old family farm, it delivers UVA/UVB/HEV protection and is exclusive to Le Prunier.

Plumscreen is non-comedogenic, clinically tested and dermatologist approved. Our clinically tested formula is ideal for all skin types, especially acne prone and extremely sensitive or allergy prone skin. 

Prior to using any new product, we recommend consulting with your dermatologist first.

Yes, it is a mineral sunscreen. There are no chemical sunscreen ingredients in Le Prunier Plumscreen®. Plumscreen® uniquely harnesses the Power of Plum®. The only sunscreen active ingredient in Plumscreen™ is Zinc Oxide at 4.7% - we use Non-Nano Zinc Oxide so it stays on the skin’s surface.

Le Prunier Plumscreen® is a silky sheer formula which sinks into the skin flawlessly. It also do NOT leave a white cast typical of most mineral sunscreens and is suitable for all skin types and skin tones. Our Plumscreen formula does NOT contain ethanol. However, prior to using any new product we advise consulting with your dermatologist first.

We normally do not offer refunds or returns and All Sales are Final, however, if you happen to have a negative skin reaction we can make an exception on a case by case basis.

No. It has a translucent application leaving behind no visible tint. 

No, Plumscreen® SPF 31 blends into the skin without leaving a white residue typical of many mineral sunscreens and helps protect coral reefs. 

The only sunscreen active ingredient is Zinc Oxide at 4.7% - we use Non-Nano Zinc Oxide so it stays on the skin’s surface. Plumscreen® combines our cult-favorite Plum Beauty Oil and Plum Superfruit Complex® that sinks into skin protecting collagen and elastin from UV damage and reduces free radicals that can damage DNA. Most sunscreens have an upwards amount of 10%-25% or more of an FDA-listed chemical or mineral sunscreen active ingredient. Plumscreen® uniquely harnesses the Power of Plum. 

Plumscreen is not waterproof and we recommend keeping it out of your eyes.

Plumscreen imparts a natural and much subtler marzipan scent.

Plumscreen provides SPF 31 protection and helps with hyperpigmentation. In a large consumer study, 100% of participants showed a reduction in dark spots after 6 weeks of using Plumscreen. After just 14 days, 100% of participants showed an improvement in overall appearance, texture and smoothness after using Plumscreen. 

In addition, Plumscreen has a PA+++ rating (a high level of UVA protection) and provides broad spectrum protection from UVA radiation, which prematurely ages skin causing wrinkles and age spots, and provides protection from UVB radiation (sunburn).

Le Prunier Plumscreen ingredients are listed under ingredients on the product page listed here. Plumscreen is formulated without parabens, sulfates, fragrances, essential oils or chemical sunscreen ingredients. Plumscreen is also reef safe, vegan, cruelty-free, PETA certified and clean.

We offer free USPS shipping on all orders in the United States over $100 and free USPS shipping on international orders over $140. You can assign (2) units of our Plumscreen for your Subscription preference to qualify for free shipping for each order.

Plumscreen® is pediatrician approved, but we do not test on pregnant women. Our co-founder used Plumscreen® on her son while she was pregnant as well. Prior to using any new product we advise consulting with your dermatologist and/or doctor first.

Our Plumscreen® SPF 31 has been clinically tested by FDA registered and ISO certified labs. Le Prunier conducts micro-testing on every batch of Plumscreen® which checks for bacteria and yeast, assay testing to confirm percentage of sunscreen actives and appearance, color, odor and pH testing to determine safety and consistency.

The FDA per say doesn’t approve anyone’s spf. However, all of our testing is broad spectrum spf 31 sunscreen FDA approved.

Plumscreen® is produced in a lab where benzene contamination is NOT an issue. Plumscreen® is manufactured in a state-of-the art facility that is FDA approved, CGMO certified, ISO certified and EcoCert certified. 

These manufacturing and quality assurance certifications include: ISO 22716 (international cosmetics GMP), ISO 9001 (quality management), OHSAH 18001 (health and safety management), and ECO-CERT (organic cosmetics certification), Our facility has also passed screening for cosmetics and over-the-counter (OTC) registration with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Le Prunier Plumscreen® is manufactured in a state-of-the art facility that is FDA approved, CGMO certified, ISO certified and EcoCert certified. 

These manufacturing and quality assurance certifications include: ISO 22716 (international cosmetics GMP), ISO 9001 (quality management), OHSAH 18001 (health and safety management), and ECO-CERT (organic cosmetics certification), Our facility has also passed screening for cosmetics and over-the-counter (OTC) registration with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Plumbody is safe for all skin types and extremely gentle to the skin.

We undergo all of the stability, compatibility and micro testing before our finished good is approved for use. In addition Plumbody is pediatrician approved, hypoallergenic certified, allergy tested & certified and contains no added fragrances or essential oils.

All ingredients are soy free in Plumbody, with the exception of Glycerin, as it is soy-derived. However, the ingredient manufacturer has provided us with their Allergen Food Certification - certifying that the above-named product (and/or its components) is free from and does not encounter known food allergens. 

Separately, please note Plumbody has been hypoallergenic certified, allergy tested & certified and contains no added fragrances or essential oils. Additionally, Plumbody is pediatrician approved. Therefore, Plumbody is extremely gentle to the skin. However, we recommend prior to using any new product consulting with your dermatologist.

Yes! There are no added fragrances in Plumbody.

Yes! Our formulations are Credo Clean Standard compliant and of the highest ‘clean beauty’ standard. As such we refrain from using essential oils, parabens, sulfates or added fragrance

The primary packaging (jar) is made of PCR material and is made of one material which means the entire component can be placed into your recycling bin. Please rinse out before disposing.

If a package is returned to Le Prunier due to an incorrect or incomplete address entered by the customer, or if the customer was not available for the delivery or the pickup of the order, Le Prunier is not responsible for return or redelivery shipping fees.
