  2. Where is Le Prunier made? Our award-winning Plum Beauty Oil is grown, harvested and cold-pressed on our 4th generation family farm in Sutter County, California. This farm was founded in 1916 by our great-grandfather and operates today as the world’s largest organic grower and producer of plums. We are so proud to be continuing the family tradition with clean beauty!

  3. How is Le Prunier environmentally-sound, clean beauty? Le Prunier is 100% sustainable. Our Plum Beauty Oil is created by cold-pressing upcycled plum kernels, which were previously a waste product on the farm. The remaining flesh of the fruit is then used to create juice, dried fruit, baby food, etc., so nothing goes to waste. Our farm has been 100% powered by solar for the last ten years and we’ve been committed to organic farming for over 30 years. From start to finish, Le Prunier products remain all natural, ethical, and eco-friendly.

  1. How is Plum Beauty Oil made? We collect the discarded organic plum kernels which were previously a waste product, then we use a proprietary extraction method to cold-press the oil. We press regularly to ensure our oil is always as fresh as possible! 

  2. What skin type is this oil best suited for? All skin types including sensitive, acne and allergy prone skin. 

  3. What does Plum Beauty Oil smell like? The natural scent of our Plum Beauty Oil is reminiscent of marzipan or a subtle sweet almond scent. We never add fragrance. 

  4. Can you use Plum Beauty Oil in place of a moisturizer? Yes, our Plum Beauty Oil can be used in place of your moisturizer or used in combination with your current skincare routine. It’s multi-purpose and naturally rich in Vitamin E. 

  5. I have acne and oily-prone skin. Will your oil cause me to break out? No, our Plum Beauty Oil is non-comedogenic so it won’t clog pores or promote acne. In fact, many customers have told us it has helped heal breakout faster. 

  6. Can pregnant women use this product? Yes, our co-founder Jacqueline used it throughout her pregnancy. Our oil is hypoallergenic and gentle for sensitive skin, however, to determine your comfort level and best practices we recommend speaking to your doctor first. We are also Pediatrician Approved. 
  7. Can men use Le Prunier Plum Beauty Oil? Yes, it’s unisex! You can moisturize your face, body and facial hair with Le Prunier Plum Beauty Oil.

  8. Is Le Prunier TSA approved? Yes, our full size 30ml Plum Beauty Oil is TSA approved. We also created our 3.7ml Deluxe Minis in a convenient 3.7ml travel size. Both are perfect for on-the-go glow!

  9. What is the shelf life of Plum Beauty Oil? Plum Beauty Oil has a natural shelf life of 2 years upon opening. Each 30ml bottle should last 1-2 months depending upon frequency of usage. We recommend signing up for a monthly or bi-monthly subscription to save 10% and never run out! You can cancel at any time (no hidden fees or restrictions). 

  10. Can I use Plum Beauty Oil under my eyes? Yes, Plum Beauty Oil is gentle enough to use around the eye area and helps to prevent fine lines and wrinkles. 

  11. What are other ways you can use Plum Beauty Oil?
  • Applying a few drops of Plum Beauty Oil to the palm of your hand and gently blend together with concealer to create a smooth finish for under the eyes. It helps you to look refreshed after a long day of work!
  • After cleansing your face in the morning, apply Le Prunier Plum Beauty Oil to your face and let it absorb into the skin. After a few minutes, layer on sunscreen for an added antioxidant boost. 
  • You can apply a generous amount in the evening after cleansing and toning. Rub it in your hands for easier application and gently press it onto the face, neck and décolleté. You can even use a gua sha tool or a jade roller to further penetrate the oil into the skin. 
  • Le Prunier does wonders to the ends of hair! After showering, apply a few drops to the ends of damp hair to help nourish the ends. Plum Beauty Oil helps protect against heat damage and smells amazing as well!

  1. Where do you ship? We offer free USPS shipping on all orders in the United States over $50 and free USPS shipping on international orders over $140. The customer is responsible for any shipping, import duties, taxes or any other government charges. 

  2. When will my order ship? Orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Depending upon the shipping method selected upon checkout, it could take anywhere from 2-7 business days to arrive in the U.S. Due to the ongoing global health crisis, processing and shipping times may be delayed. Processing times may also be extended during holiday times, launches/re-stocks, and promotions.
